About Me

I am a graduate student at UC Berkeley working on distributed systems, systems security and energy efficiency. My advisor is the Jedi David Culler. Upon completing my undergrad at the College of Engineering, Guindy, I worked at Microsoft Research India and then at Amazon.com.
I started the Berkeley India Reading Group which you should participate in if you are interested in anything India! During my undergrad days, I actively contributed to the GNOME, LDTP and Hackzor open source projects. I was also a successful candidate of the Summer of Code ’06 program. My undergraduate Final Year Project – “A Semantic File System”, was designed and implemented under the guidance of Prof. Arul Siromoney. Past and current projects I have actively taken part in are listed here.
You can also see that the publicity hound in me was featured here, here, even here and for all of the completely wrong reasons here. Also check out my write up about my Emacs setup.
